One a Day Project - Tuesday's Tallies

Don't Tuesday's come around so quickly? This week I am delighted to have a Ta-Dah! I've finished my snowflake garland! I'm very pleased with it, it looks rather lovely if I do say so myself. Would you like to see?
You can check out all the details on my Ravelry project page, where I have listed all the patterns I have used.

I'm not sure what to do this week, perhaps I should concentrate on my baby granny squares cushion? I have 53 squares left to do, which is a little more than a week's work I think. Yes, I think I will spend the week on my baby grannies. I'm having urges to start something new, but I've decided that I should finish some other things first and perhaps the something new should wait until the New Year?
I really want to do something special with this yarn but I just can't decide? I'm thinking of either a giant granny square or perhaps little granny squares joined as you go? Any thoughts?

Time for the fun bit! If you would like to participate in 'Tuesday's Tallies' please add your details below, remembering to use your the link for your post rather than your blog. You don't have to leave a comment (although it's very lovely when you do!) and it would be great if you could visit some of the links too. If you are participating please could you link back to this post :)

  3. Your garland is beautiful. I still have hopes of making something like this but with so many presents still to do I'm not sure it will happen. Sadly I've nothing for the one a day tallies this week but I will enjoy looking at everybody's work instead.

  5. Those snowflakes look wonderful and so delicate. It is a beautiful garland.
I think that yarn would look lovely as a giant granny, strange to say but those colours look so tasty!

  8. The snowflakes came out lovely. And I like your basket with yarns. I noticed you don't a bright/emerald/apple kind of green - is that your choice or are you also limited when it comes to green? I've been searching high a low for a nice briught green, but all we seem to get is olive, mint, lime and similar.

  9. Beautiful snowflakes - such a perfect contrast with the brickwork. I love your basket of colours too - good luck with trying to wait... or you could just start a massive granny square and add a little now and then

  10. Wow the garland is stunning, I would like to make some cotton ones, my acrylic ones didn't come out as delicate. I can see me crocheting some of these on Christmas eve when I hopefully will have finished everything else.

I'm thinking a new oneaday in Jan, but then I do love a new blanket so if I were you, I know what I would be doing ;-)

  15. Your snowflake garland is cu-ute! Awesome job. Love the idea of how you can use it over and over again and even pass it down to one of your kids.

I think the traditional Granny Square blanket that's made up of a lot of squares or even that star one Hilly Town made.

  16. The colors are so fun. How about join-as-you-go using another shape like hexagons or flowers?

  18. Love the snowflakes. Other option is to make bright and beautiful stockings but I still think I'd vote for grannies.

  23. I really love your snowflake garland ♥! I was going to make some more snowflakes this year (made a couple last year), and now I feel even more inspired to do so! I'm only 6 days late with my blog post and it's not a true Tuesday Tally, but it shows my progress anyway ;)
